Cordiners Sawmills

Company History

The Cordiner family has had a long and varied connection with the timber industry. Back in 1870 James Cordiner founded a business making wooden fishing boats in the little village of Cove, south of Aberdeen. Subsequent generations have continued the timber tradition and today James Cordiner, fifth generation of the founder, is engaged in running Cordiners Sawmills Ltd on the banks of the River Dee at Banchory.
